SafeDomains takes user privacy seriously. This document explains what data we collect, why, and how we handle it.
1. data we collect
We collect and store only the data that is necessary for the technical operation of the service:
- your unique Telegram profile identifier;
- Telegram username (optional);
- history of operations inside the bot (domain registrations and renewals, balance, support requests);
- technical data of the registered domains (zone, registration date, NS statuses, DNS change history).
We do not request passport data, phone numbers, email addresses or any other personal information beyond what is technically required to operate the service.
2. sharing data with third parties
User data is not shared with third parties, except for cases provided by the terms of service and the acceptable use policy, as well as:
- when the disclosure is necessary to comply with mandatory legal requirements;
- upon a lawful request from authorized authorities;
- to the upstream registrar — exclusively the technical data required to register or renew a domain.
3. retention period
Telegram profile data is stored for as long as the user uses the service. After the account is fully deleted in the bot, operational data is removed within 30 days. Data related to financial operations and domains may be retained longer, in the volume necessary to comply with regulatory requirements and to resolve potential disputes.
4. cookies and analytics
SafeDomains websites use only first-party technical cookies — to remember your selected language and the fact that you have accepted the cookies notice. See: cookie policy.
No third-party trackers, advertising pixels or behavioral analytics systems are used on the site.
5. data protection
Access to user data inside the service is restricted and granted only to technical staff who need it for their work. All communication channels between the bot, the infrastructure and the user are encrypted.
6. user rights
The user has the right at any time to:
- request the full list of data collected about them;
- request deletion of the account and associated operational data;
- clarify with whom and when their data has been shared.
