This agreement governs the relationship between the SafeDomains service (the «service», «administration») and an individual (the «user») using the service to register and manage domain names through the Telegram bot @SafeDomainsBot.
1. general provisions
1.1. This agreement enters into force the moment the user starts using the service.
1.2. Lack of awareness of any rule does not exempt the user from responsibility.
1.3. The administration reserves the right to amend the rules unilaterally. The new version takes effect immediately upon publication. When rules change, users are required to review and confirm their consent or stop using the service.
2. limitation of service liability
2.1. The service commits to providing stable operation within its capabilities. Temporary suspension is allowed at the administration's discretion for technical or other reasons and is accompanied by a notification to users via the news channel linked in the main bot's description. The service is not liable for temporary unavailability of any functionality due to third parties (hosting providers, upstream registrars, any third-party services, moderation of the platform that hosts the bot, etc.).
2.2. The service acts as an intermediary between the user and the upstream registrar and does not handle complaints or make decisions about suspending or blocking domain names due to the absence of corresponding authority and technical capability. Complaints regarding domain names can be sent directly to the upstream registrar via the abuse address listed in the WHOIS data, or through the service's support for subsequent forwarding to the registrar (contact available in the main bot).
2.3. The service is not a hosting provider and does not provide any services other than domain registration and an internal paid subscription. The user is responsible for the stable operation of their own services.
2.4. The service has no relation to content placed on user domains, in no way assists in its administration or hosting, has no direct ongoing access to user domains and their settings, and is not liable for the content or accuracy of any material users place on their domains. However, the service uses a number of technical means to monitor registered domains in order to prevent the use of the service for violations of the laws of the Russian Federation and CIS countries or any actions directed against residents of those countries.
2.5. The service is not liable for the blocking, deletion or suspension of domains by the upstream registrar or zone operator if the domains were used for illegal purposes or violated international ICANN rules. If domains are blocked, deleted or suspended in error and the user has solid evidence of using the domain exclusively for legal purposes and the absence of rule violations, they may contact support for compensation. Compensation conditions are described in the refund policy.
2.6. Liability for «IMMORTAL» category domain blocks: the service fully protects against possible erroneous blocks (for example, in the case of a competitor's actions against the domain owner) by the upstream registrar, provided they are not related to violations of clause 3.5 of this agreement or the acceptable use policy. In case of a domain block, the service guarantees assistance with unblocking during the warranty period. If unblocking takes more than 31 calendar days or is not possible, the service refunds funds to the user's balance. The warranty period is exactly 30 calendar days from the moment of domain registration and applies only to Immortal-category domains registered through the official Telegram bot @SafeDomainsBot. «Red labels» (risk warnings) are not considered a «block».
3. user responsibility
3.1. Before starting to use the service, the user receives a message requiring them to read all rules and terms of service and to confirm acceptance by pressing the corresponding button. Use of the service without confirmation of full acceptance is technically impossible. Once the user starts using the service, they are required to follow all the rules; otherwise, the administration reserves the right to terminate service.
3.2. The user is the sole owner and administrator of the domain names they have registered and bears full responsibility for any content placed on them. The user must keep evidence of legal use of their domain names in case of disputes in which the administration may request such evidence.
3.3. The user undertakes to prevent unauthorized third-party access to their Telegram account and domain management in the bot. If such access occurs, the user must immediately notify the service administration through official channels and take all possible measures to recover access. The user is solely responsible for the security of their account and bears full responsibility for any rule violations committed by third parties who gained unauthorized access to the user's account.
3.4. The user may transfer their domains to any other user of the service. In such a case, the user receiving the domain becomes its administrator and owner. The receiving user is required to verify on their own that the domain and any content placed on it does not violate the service's rules and to immediately remove violations if found. If a domain was transferred without prior agreement and without the user's request, they are required to notify support.
3.5. The user undertakes not to violate the laws of the Russian Federation and CIS countries and not to host content targeted at audiences in these countries. The user agrees that, in case of violation, the service has the right to immediately delete violating domains and suspend service without refunding payments, and, in case of requests from law enforcement, to provide all data the service has about that user. The full list of prohibited content is in the acceptable use policy.
4. domain renewal terms
4.1. Renewal deadline: the user must initiate domain renewal at least 7 days before the actual expiration date.
4.2. Grace period: after expiration, the domain enters a grace period (typically 30 days). Renewal is possible at the standard price.
4.3. Redemption period: after the grace period, the domain enters the redemption period (typically 30 days). Restoration during this period involves significant additional costs paid by the user.
5. contact
5.1. Primary channel: @SafeHelper_Bot (Telegram). Backup channel: safedomainsbot@gmail.com.
5.2. Technical support is provided exclusively through the primary channel.
5.3. For inappropriate or abusive behavior, flooding or spam, the ability to contact support may be restricted. Restriction periods are set by the administration at its discretion.
