SafeDomains uses the minimum cookies necessary — only for the technical operation of the site. No profiling, no advertising trackers.
1. what cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser to remember your settings or session state. They contain no executable code and cannot retrieve data outside of their own domain.
2. cookies we use
sd-lang
Remembers your selected interface language (Russian or English) so that we can show the site in the correct locale on your next visit.
- type: technical;
- retention: 1 year;
- values:
ruoren.
sd-cookies-accepted
Stored in the browser's localStorage and marks that you have already seen the cookies notice. Used only to avoid showing the banner again.
- type: technical;
- storage: localStorage (not strictly a cookie);
- retention: until you manually clear your browser data.
3. third-party cookies
SafeDomains websites have no advertising pixels, analytics trackers or social network widgets. Third-party cookies are set only when fonts are loaded from Google Fonts (technical CDN cookies). This traffic is not used by us to build a user profile.
4. how to manage cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Safari: Settings → Privacy.
If you disable cookies entirely, the language switcher will stop remembering your choice and the cookies banner may appear on every visit.
5. policy changes
If the cookies we use change, we will update this document and the date at the top. Material changes are also surfaced via the notice banner.
